Dr Carol MoonMBBS, MRCGP (UK2013), FRACGP Principal GP & Director
Dr Carol Moon is a UK-trained GP who relocated to Sydney in 2015 and settled in the Upper North Shore with her husband and three young children a few years ago. As a local parent, she understands firsthand the challenges of juggling family, work, and personal health, and brings this empathy into her everyday care for patients.
After graduating from St. Georges, University of London in 2008 and completing her GP training in the UK, Dr Carol gained extensive experience working across a range of clinics throughout London and Sydney. This journey inspired her to establish Rotem Medical Family Practice, a thoughtfully designed clinic where clinical excellence is paired with genuine, ongoing care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Dr Carol enjoys the breadth of general practice and has special interests in women’s health (including Implanon and IUD procedures), family planning, children’s health, preventative care, and minor procedures including aesthetic treatments. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and providing care that is both personalised and compassionate.
Outside of work, Dr Carol is busy navigating her young children’s schedules, enjoys spending time with her family, discovering new cafes, and making the most of everything the local community has to offer. She is fluent in Korean.
